In February 2006, Alion Science and Technology, a technology solutions provider for government and industry announced that it had acquired Norfolk-based BMH Associates, Inc. With facilities also in FL and RI, BMH Associates provides advanced software and systems engineering and specializes in distributed interactive simulations for military training and experimentation. Headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, BMH has concentrated its efforts in modeling and simulation (M&S) systems integration, software development, and the operational application of M&S technologies. BMH uses High Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) technologies to execute large scale, advanced distributed simulation system design, development, and implementation.
