BioMat Sciences is a Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing company that has developed and commercialized the Primagen adhesive for dental applications. Primagen was created by the Biomaterials Interfaces Group, a research consortium of three universities in Montreal. Primagen is a high-performance adhesive for bonding restorative composites and polymers to tooth structures. The material chemically bonds to collagen, the main protein in teeth. BioMat also manufactures related products such as curing lights.
