Bioelectron Inc was acquited by EBI, L.P. of Parsippany, Doing business as Biomet Spine & Bone Healing Technologies, the acquiring firm manufactured and distributed electrical stimulation technologies. The firm was in the business of engineers, manufactures, and markets products for implantable spine and bone growth stimulation, non-invasive spine and bone growth stimulation, osteobiologics, spine implants (cervical, thoracolumbar, interbody spacers, mis, vertebroplasty), and bracing segment. The firm got caught up in a 2010 whistleblower suit involving this firm and several others in bone -growth stimulation business initiated in 2005 but citing issues dating back to 1998.
