Behavioral Research, Inc is the commercialization spin-out of the not-for-profit Behavioral Health Research Center of the Southwest (BHRCS) in Albuquerque, NM. Behavioral Research, Incorporated, is focused to the enhancement of the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities through the development and distribution of innovative research-based interventions in the area of behavioral health. Through strategic partnerships, the firm's products are enhancing the well-being of our communities. Research is focused on such areas as computerized assessments aimed at improving health in special populations (e.g. pregnant women, adolescents, drunk drivers); methods for screening, treating, and sanctioning convicted drunk driving offenders; implementation of opiate replacement treatment programs; testing new pharmaceuticals in addiction medicine; workplace substance abuse prevention; reducing truancy in a public school system; and substance abuse policy research.
