Public Profile

Aravis Biotech LLC is structured around development of implanted medical devices designed to determine the status of fracture healing. Noting that some 10% of persons inthe US will break a hip in their lifetime, principals of Aravis Biotech note that complications include slow, suboptimal surgeries, poorly informed decisions, frustrating communications, medical costs, and more with what amounts often to guesswork re. determination of whether fracture has heoperly healed. To combat some of these complications, Aravis BioTech is developing implanted medical devices (with user friendly sensors enabling the determination of (1) status of fracture healing and (2) when the patient can safely apply weight to their fracture. Paired with use of X-ray’s, the Aravix devcies are designed to allow physicians to see how the bone is doing - enabling their being able to makebetter, more informed decisions.
