Aravant Corporation specializes in modeling and simulation in applied physics. This includes the development of Propagation Modeling Simulation software to calculate channel effects resulting from nuclear-enhanced ionosphere through airborne particles such as rain, hail, sand, and volcanic ash.
Aravant developed the client/server messaging interface specifications for the IFICS Communications Simulator and the ISTC/SATCOM Simulator, network servers that participate in a distributed simulation of National Missile Defense performance and developed the software necessary to implement these specifications as TCP/IP messaging APIs. The implementations were built on a common code base, compliable for Win32 and Unix.
Aravant also has experience in Relational and hierarchical databases for characterizing signal propagation effects according to several independent variables, such as frequency, magnetic field orientation, and propagation path geometry. These databases are used when runtime requirements preclude the use of the more detailed propagation codes.
