The Aneimal Emergency Center has a 10,800 square-foot hospital including four exam rooms, a large treatment room, two surgical suites with a surgical prep area, a diagnostic imaging room for radiology and fluoroscopy, a stat laboratory, an Intensive Care Unit, an Isolation Unit, a Ward Unit, family room, conference room, medical library and offices. Outside is a secure, therapeutic walking area for hospital patients. The Animal Emergency Center's state-of-the-art equipment will support even the most critical surgery or highly specialized care -- such as peritoneal dialysis for kidney failure, cardio-pulmonary support for heart failure, orthopedic repair for fractures, neurosurgery for spinal injury and blood transfusions for anemias or clotting diseases.
