In 2005 Anatrace Inc was acquired by USB, and in December 2007 USB was itself acquired by Affymetrix - an extensively involved SBIR awadee in itsearly days. Anatrace then operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Affymetrix. With Anatrace Inc in the business of developing detergents for use by researchers, many of their products are designed specifically for the extraction and stabilization of membrane proteins.
