AgriNerds is a University of California Davis spin-off co-founded by several UCD faculty and staff structured around working on scaling various technologies for the poultry industry and beyond. Of particular focus currently is development of cutting edge technologies designed to help inform farmers protect their flocks and produce more food. The effort is to help and enable farmers to harness the power of these technologies by providing a data management and visualization tool to integrate and interpret this information in real time. The web-based application uses both machine learning and decision sciences to help farmers optimize production yield, food safety and operational efficiency.
