AeroSoft does work in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) applications, utilizing novel algorithms which expand the capabilities of its users. AeroSoft also provides customized solutions for Aerospace and military clients which wish to hire the expertise needed to solve individual problems, but with no interest in purchasing CFD software. AeroSoft maintains a secret facility clearance (Cage Code 0NSK3) and several keypersonnel hold secret level clearances. AeroSoft personnel are experts in CFD development along with specific applications including internal and external aerodynamics, combustion chemistry, automotive design, and hypersonic aerodynamics. The firm's products include GASP: AeroSoft's primary software package. GASP is a structured/unstructured, multi-block CFD flow solver which solves the Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations as well as the heat conduction equation for solid bodies. GUST: an unstructured CFD flow solver with similar capabilities of GASP. It was first released in 1998 and came with its own grid generator. GUST shared much of the same code as GASP, and was eventually merged into GASP Version 5.0. Because of its merger with GASP, GUST is no longer available as a separate software package. SENSE: designed as a post-processing tool to GASP with the purpose of determining discrete solutions to the linear sensitivity equations. With SENSE, users of high-order CFD codes can obtain the derivative of the entire flow field with respect to a generic design parameter. Since the sensitivity equations are linear, sensitivity solutions can be obtained in much less time than required by a typical flow solution. SENSE was first released in 1998 as a stand-alone package and was later incorporated into GASP Version v4.2. SENSE is no longer available as a separate software package.
