Flying almost entirely under the radar with minimal public comment, this project speaks to a condition of consequence to those people addressing Alzheimers Disease and Related Dementias (ADRDs) (as patients or their associates) and the common condition of loss of any 24-hour sleep-wake behavioral patterns. Project (and awardee) addresses user-acceptability testing of user-friendly, wearable system for assessing and monitoring this problem. If successful, project could set the stage for a clinical trial testing a new digital tool that would allow providers precisely to target and tailor circadian-based interventions - reducing adverse effects of circadian disruption in families affected by dementia.
