Rampart Communications, Inc. has developed a cryptographically secure RF modulation. Using our product, Unitary Braid Division Multiplexing (UBDM), we hypothesize that we can build a radio that has lower SWaP and better performance than any options available to date. In this feasibility study we will analyze channel models, determine the optimal physical layer OSI configuration, and conduct a side by side analysis of existing COTS options. This study will illuminate the optimal hardware on which to implement UBDM in order to build an Ultra-Secure low SWaP tactical communications system.
