The purpose of this Assess Readiness and Train Medical Support Operations Teams modeling, simulation, and analysis capability is to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of integrated strategic, operational and tactical medical support operations information and response process modeling and personnel training. The effort will conduct research to determine current and future information and medical response capabilities for Joint C4ISR requirements. In support of current GWOT and future US and Coalition global asymmetric capability requirements, we will build a modeling, simulation and training environment. This capability will provide decision makers, medical operations staff and personnel the capability of advanced information and sense and respond training, evaluation and assessment to enhance mission performance in an asymmetric, global, and network-centric warfare. The prototype will also address how the models and simulations can be transitioned to support other government and civilian requirements outside conventional military operations. The primary prototype will include process models, simulations, databases, medical support operations planning and execution, and assessment data to validate current response planning, policy and medical support capabilities requirements.
