A web based pharmacist training program and a patient centric decision support system DSS for pharmacies to implement risk reduction services for persons who inject drugs PWID. The software will be interoperable with pharmacy and EHR systems and generate tailored harm reduction counseling for PWIDA patient centric approach to decision support has the potential of improving the level of detail and accuracy of histories reported by patients. The system will support greater patient pharmacist interactions facilitates patient participation in managing their disease and help pharmacists formulate intervention plans
