This research will develop a clinical device producing continuous, noninvasive images of brainstructure using nonionizing optical radiation. Using a Time-of-flight and Absorbance (TOFA) system, thecontractor shall demonstrate key principles of an optical cerebral imager, including objective assessmentof resolution and conversion to a clinical configuration. The contractor shall modify an existing TOFAsystem test instrumentation and algorithms to allow conversion of time-of-flight optical data to astructural image.
