Global Technology Connection, Inc. (GTC), in collaboration with its university and Naval partners, proposes to leverage existing GTC technology - TRAjectory Course Anomaly IdentifieR (TRACAIR) and develop Transition-pipeline Recommender & Attrition Identification Tool (TRAIT). These data science & Machine Learning (ML) tools ingest disparate Navy aircraft trajectory & performance datasets, weather data, and Naval studentsÂ’ Aviator Training Jacket (ATJ) data to 1. Establish trajectory & aviator performance baselines to increase enterprise-level knowledge of aviator performance, 2. Identify aircraft trajectory anomalies/safety risks to help increase aviator & aircraft safety, and 3. Recommend optimal training pipelines and evaluate & track flight maneuver proficiency to minimize later stage aviator attrition and help improve aviator training operations and training effectiveness. Phase II will focus on the development of a working prototype based on methods already proposed. Aggressive technology transition and commercialization would be carried out throughout all phases of this program. Phase III will concentrate on creating a commercial version of TRACAIR TRAIT following extensive testing through a pilot program.
