Our combined team efforts allow us to develop seamlessly integrated communications systems including the radios, RF components, modems, power amplifiers, chip designs, waveforms, network management software to meet the needs of modern military communication systems. The PAS team is leading the way in airborne/ground system digital beam forming technology with its conformal CABs arrays

Benefit:
Provide wide-band high-capacity data links that can sustain 100Mbps at 150Nm to share multi-spectral imagery/video (ISAR video/stills, HD FMV, Command and Control, and intelligence data) at the forward edge. Ability to control RF emanations (spatially and spectrally) to satisfy low probability of intercept (LPI) or a low probability of detection (LPD) against threat EW systems and space-based national detection assets. Provide a high level of directionality, power control, LPI/LPD discovery, control plane, and RF tracking. Provide anti-jam null-steering capability to null out multiple jammers (threat jammers and noise sources like taxi-cabs) through digital signal processing in the same antenna quadrant.

In examining the objectives in this SBIR 212-111 topic list for a Covert Communication System (CCS), PAS has derived requirements for Candidate Platform infrastructure and a Comms System using a balanced combination of three main elements. Power Spectral Density, LPI/LPD waveforms and Adaptive Beam Steering Antennas. These elements are necessary to attain the goal of 100 Mb/sec and 150NM

Benefit:
To avoid high startup costs the CCC should seamlessly leverage and utilize an existing system infrastructure within candidate platforms. STARLINK, TCDL BE-CDL and LINK16 are current platforms or planned for military use and are implementing LPI/LPD radio waveforms. PAS has focused this SBIR effort on Adaptive Beam steering Array Geometries element and coupled with PASs RAMSES high data rate (137 Mb/sec) dual SATCOM LEO - CDL, PLEO mode communications systems can satisfy this requirement.
