Precision navigation based upon GPS and Inertial navigation is enabling precision weapons that are providing a revolutionary improvement in probability-of-kill Pk. Small, low cost MEMS based inertial systems permit the application of precision guidance to new low cost guided munitions.

Benefits:
The technology is directly transferable to shoulder launched missiles, guided mortors, UAVs. In addition the technology is appropriate as an aig to GPS for vehicle navigation. There are numerous commercial applications for low cost GPS/Inertial
