Hittman proposes the development of a closed lattice design thermoelectric cooler for the cools of microcircults. Appropriate minimal cost manufacturing techiques will be developed for this thermoelectric module. An advanced heat sink concept will be evaluated and various designs integrated with the cooler design. Hittman will develop a description of the materials and manufacturing techiques necessary to manufacture and demonstrate a working prototype of an integrated closed lattice thermoelectric cooler/advanced heat sink device.
