We propose to apply a little-known flow measurement method -the Gibson or Pressure-Time - to flowmeter calibration. The majoradvantage of the method is that it is a fundamental means of measuringmass flow which can be implemented in a closed-loop calibrationfacility.Primary flowmeter calibration is problem which faces a wide range ofindustries as well as NASA. The introduction of a calibration methodwhich does not require extensive facilities would be welcomed by allflowmeter gibson, pressure-time, flowmeters
