This project is designed to develop a solid-state, fully automated data collection and recording device, capable of monitoring the operating profile of an aircraft in order to provide accurate diagnostic real-time information necessary to detect potential hazardous conditions for accident prevention. The effort applies a concept patented for use in motor vehicles to the aircraft arena.
