Nia Solutions Corporation is a NY - based small business recognized on Long Island as a regional leader in school consulting services. Responding to SBIR Priority 1 Services, Nia proposes to test the feasibility of expanding an evidence-driven consulting service called the ¿Grant Development Process¿ GDP. This service consistently enables schools and districts to overcome financial shortfalls in meeting the requirements of NCLB or other priorities. We seek to explore the efficacy and usefulness of a new business model whereby this service is delivered over the Web. Additionally, by linking promising Automated Document Assembly functions, we can demonstrate the potential to both increase service volume and better serve the education community at both the local and state levels. The initial target of the expanded GDP will be funding available in NY under Part 154 of the Regulations of the Commissioner for the Education of Limited English Proficient/English Language Learners (LEP/ELLs) and Title III. Part A for the Education of Limited English Proficient (LEP) Students.
