This proposal will research the technological streamlining and coordination of tools that counselors utilize to communicate and counsel with students and their parents. Career Pathway/Cluster standards, instructional instruments and standards based curriculm form the corner stones for systemic education reform. Career guidance counseling proveds the blueprint to guide teachers and students in the right direction. Advances in technology allow us to construct structrues of education design, implemenation and execution that focus a student on developing a career plan, with apprpriate academic preparation, based on a Career Pathway unique for their school. Once identified, the career path becomes the centerpoint of activities leading students to local employers for job site visits, mentoring shadowing, etc. then on to post secondary education and evaluation.
