$39,302Potential Commercial Applications:
The "machine learning" or "self-adaptive" capabilities of Neural Networks should permit the three tools to perform their associated tasks well in a wider range of applications than current technologies and tools. Improved arithmetic computer-aided training and assessment should result for students with LD's. Eventually, commercial products could be developed. Such products could reduce instructional and assessment costs, and also improve the quality of Special Education available to many students.
