LocatorX offers a broad range of capabilities built on the core of its LXConnect Application Server, an open Internet of Things (IoT) platform that encompasses many industry 4.0 concepts. From the digitization of complex, industrial, and material-focused processes often found in manufacturing and supply chain industries, a modern, API-driven interface maximizing interoperability with current and future technologies and IoT scale data processing and storage, through a portable Software-as-a-Service deployment model able to operate in public and private networks. LocatorX can provide the DLA with many of the industry 4.0 logistics capabilities that deliver supply chain and distribution support. The solution is designed to be integrated into both existing and future enterprise architecture. LocatorXs solution is comprised of the following components: Smart Tag: The AtlasLX is an active RF tracker using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Smart Tag Reader/Node: The AtlasLX, or Smart Tag, communicates to the LocatorX solution via the EchoLX reader or node using our BLE acquisition system. Application Server: The LXConnect Application Server is a highly adaptable processing service that supports data from different sources. The LXConnect Application Server is responsible for: Receiving and processing the data streams from the smart tags via the BLE acquisition system Day-to-day management of tags including maintenance of firmware LXConnect provides data to our management console via REST APIs The LocatorX BLE acquisition system works in parallel with the LXLogistics Pro mobile and cloud-based applications that implement the digital processing of organization-defined business rules, such as: Receiving materiel from outside of the warehouse Stowing items based on stow sheets and location scanning Picking materiel based on pick sheetsShipping of materiel Quantity assets are supported in these processes, as well as single items. In addition to the visualization of data in our console, nominal and exception events can be defined for sending data to legacy servers, including: Materiel that is moved without proper business rules (pick tickets) Zone Arrival and Zone Departure events for tracking the movement of BLE tags Nominal events, such as Receive, Stow, Pick, and Ship The LocatorX solution can work with a range of hardware in addition to our own, meaning it is able to work with suitable tagging and tracking technologies that align with customer use cases. For all materiel with active tags, our solution can implement a constant rolling inventory. By combining manual and automated interactions, and records of actions performed, and changes made.
