The objective of the project is to certify and manufacture fuel tank with O.E.M. part number: 16VB004001 (FFC part number: 8161-1) by showing compliance with those requirements in MIL-DTL-6396F for a “TYPE II, CLASS A” fuel cell and deliver manufactured tanks starting with the first article inspection (FAI). These requirements specified in MIL-DTL-6396F will be explained in detail in section 4.1 of this document.
