In this digital age, the cybersecurity landscape finds itself afflicted by not only technical vulnerabilities but a systemic flaw in the foundational education of its professionals. Both the vast cyber-realms of the Department of Defense (DoD), intelligence community (IC), US Government (USG), and the wider industry face an existential threat, not only from external cyber adversaries but from an intrinsic educational misalignment. The heart of this predicament lies in the tension between the principles of software engineering and the imperatives of cybersecurity. This educational misalignment will be corrected with SENSEI. Building off of the pwn.college education platform, SENSEI will develop robust, scalable workshops and training modules that will fill the cybersecurity skill gaps. To achieve this, SENSEI will seek to better understand integral stakeholders' needs, design and develop a scalable curriculum, explore the potential of community-driven education enhancement, implement personalized feedback mechanisms at scale, pilot the training program, and establish a sustainable community learner pipeline.
