Program objective is to develop and transition an uncooled ROIC supporting a pixel pitch between 6.0 and 8.5mm with ROIC noise low enough that is doesn’t degrade the bolometer’s inherent noise by more than 10%, while meeting NVESD’s format and performance objectives. During Phase I Nu-Trek will collaborate with NVESD and industry to define a target pixel pitch and bolometer thermodynamic parameters, then develop and demonstrate a strategy for shrinking the Chestnut uncooled ROIC design to the target pixel pitch without degrading the ROIC’s performance. In subsequent program phases this design will be fabricated and charact
