The US Army needs the ability to generate flexible AC power on the battlefield. The goal of this proposal is a DC Distribution box design that is affordable, available, and flexible for DC to AC Power. This design will enable DC/AC grid power flow, enable AC/DC charging, contain over-current protection, reduce AC distortion, regulate low voltage power from either DC or AC, and communicate using the TMS protocol. New Eagle’s proposal will include a study of the state-of-the-art inverter technology, perform an initial system design using modeling, and create a plan to build the DC to AC Power distribution box
