Effective weapon cueing is an essential part of successful battlefield operations and plays a key role in United States Army strength. Ensuring the integrity of such weapon systems and providing enduring and reliable verification of such integrity is equally important. Degradation in effective Air and Missile Defense (AMD) weapon cueing can compromise AMD sensor and weapon performance, cause fratricide and loss of protected assets, and can become a deterrent to overall AMD system performance. Therefore, minimizing the likelihood of successful cyber-attacks and providing real-time to near-real-time notification of attempted and successful cyber-attacks is of critical importance to the Army. Gigavation’s proposed solution will prevent system attacks, verify system integrity, and provide real-time alerts. The technology can be incorporated into system design by Army engineers. Gigavation’s solution will detect system compromise and can alert soldiers accordingly in real time. The proposed solution will operate autonomously and will provide visual and aural indications of compromise. The proposed solution includes a persistent, non-software based plug-in device to be used by soldiers and system engineers.
