We propose to develop miniature antennae built on fractal designs. The antennae will be built to exhibit the recently discovered advantages of fractal antennae--shrunken size; broad/multibandedness; reasonable radiation resistance. These fractal antenna will be designed to accomodate a number of constricted form factors including: covert or embedded mounting; top mounting; and multiple mounting. The antennae will be tested for performance at a variety of frequencies allowing for prototype production for satellite links, cell point to point, and so on. These prototypes will also be directly applicable to commercial use in wireless, cellular, and other consumer telecommunications useages. Miniature embedded fractal antenna of broad bandwidth have the potential to replace most extant commercial designs in hand-held configurations, without breakage and with higher efficiency
