The objective is to evaluate and investigate a surfaceoxide tester unit (SERA) Sequential Electrochemical ReductionAnalysis, in order to be utilized in our solder production line.The system will be tested to assess its capabilities, limitationsand the effect of its variables on the control parameters ofsolder plating. Also, SERA is to be evaluated as an alternativetest method to typically traditional solderability test methodswhich are based on a subjective, visual and unreliable inspectionmethod.
