The proposed effort will design, develop and test an integrated computer assisted methodology for specifying, testing and evaluating c31 systems that use artificial intellegence techniques. Specific system requirements will be identified and analyzed through a survey of existing and planned systems. Requirements definition and documentation will be based on classical systems engineering approach using functional models plus new analysis techniques to determine and describe measureable qualities more nearly unique to systems that use ai techniques. System will assist in generation of measurements of operational effectiveness that relate to operational requirement and functional evaluation parameters.
