Future threats will force air-launched weapons to be faster (to defeat time-critical and defended targets,) more compact (to enable internal carriage on low observable platforms) and capable of longer ranges. As such to meet the needs of the future fight, the joint force requires high-speed, compact, internal carriage weapons. This requirement drives a need for inexpensive, compact, highly efficient propulsion systems to support future high speed strike weapons. In furtherance of these objectives, FGC Plasma Solutions INC (FGC Plasma) and its subcontractor, Innoveering INC (Innoveering) will collaborate to develop an advanced solid fueled ramjet propulsion system for advanced, internal carriage munitions.
