NIRSenseâs wearable brain oxygenation monitoring patch will enable military medical providers to differentiate (i.e. triage) multiple TBI patients who are medically indistinguishable using currently fielded monitoring tools, and monitor those patients for systemic changes in brain oxygenation (ScO2) that may indicate increasing risk of neurodegeneration. The NIRSense system is ruggedized for performance in the operational environment and is robust to vibration noise encountered during transport. Patient data gathered with NIRSense at the point of injury can be stored securely onboard the NIRSense patch and accessed by multiple providers at multiple roles of care with appropriate permissions
