The Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC) on JBSA-Lackland launched the Kennel Health Assessment 2.0 (KHA) project officially as of July 8, 2020. The purpose of KHA 2.0 is to ascertain the holistic state of all of the kennels across the Air Force to ensure the well-being of all military working dogs by tracking the status of each individual kennel and assigning a “grade” helping decision makers make informed decisions pertinent to MWD readiness, health, and its direct correlation to the MWD kennel facilities, which house these sensitive high value assets. However, this is where KHA is limited, as it only tracks or analyzes four major focus areas--administrative offices, kennel facilities, support areas, and veterinary support. Thus, there is tremendous need to equip Air Force MWDs with a next generation cooling wearable for training and deployment that promotes simplicity, safety and compliance, and that can also integrate with KHA 2.0 both within and outside the continental Unites States (CONUS/OCONUS). ThorWear, Inc. doing business as (dba) Elevate Dynamics, offers the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC), Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and national LE communities our Tactical Cold Therapy and Cooling (TACT–C) solution – a thermoelectric cooling wearable for multiple form factors: TACT–C is technology readiness level eight (TRL–8) and aligns to technology area four (TA-004), with a warfighter readiness and rapid sustainment mission-focus supporting multi-terrain MWD operations, especially in austere environments, providing quantitative benefits to AFSOC, AFSFC, security forces squadrons (SFS), and LE communities for: Temperature Regulation.
