Transportation and shipping in all modes of transport, domestically, or across the world, is traditionally a cumbersome process that has multiple inefficiencies and communications gaps. This occurs both within the Air Force and in the civilian world. Often Air Force shipments are coordinated through civilian transport companies off base, so secure, transparent, and timely communication is warranted but rarely provided well. Transportation at all levels currently gets completed, but at what cost? Could the process be improved? Could it be safer? Could it be more secure? Could it be done at a reduced spend? DigCargo provides all of these values to our customers. Furthermore, through our current users, we have found that end user access is critical to find success. Everyone involved in the shipment transaction should have easy access to setup, track, and view the critical shipment details and information, not just logistics officers. Eliminating communication gaps and providing crucial shipment information at the stakeholder’s fingertips is not only logical, but it can be the difference of life and death in wartime situations. A maintenance technician or construction crew could accurately schedule work based on updates on the delivery of critical equipment. In another instance, providing a simple way to schedule, track, and communicate with a soldier’s family during a base transfer of their belongings provides reassurance, trust, and moral support during a tough and stressful time. Creating secure technology that is purposely built from the ground up to scale, be nimble, and able to adapt quickly is also a big advantage of DigCargo’s technology platform for the Air Force. Digital Cargo Management, Inc. is a technology company focused on building innovative technology products and creating long-term value for the freight industry. Our product, DigCargo, is a multi-tenant mobile and web platform that provides collaborative logistics for all stakeholders, both internal and external, in the freight transaction. The technology makes a typical complex and disjointed transaction into a simple digital solution that provides increased transparency, communication and engagement that saves time, money and provides the trust that current solutions are missing. DigCargo’s digital software platform provides a secure solution for shippers, transportation brokers, and carriers that eliminates complexity, provides common collaborative infrastructure, and reduces costs of finding and dispatching freight. This is accomplished by connecting the truck, driver, shipper and receiver of the freight directly with the broker through the platform, thereby eliminating manual, inefficient interactions which creates value for all parties in
