Swift Engineering understands the importance of emerging technologies that can improve the capabilities of the US Air Force and other agencies involved with personnel rescue and firefighting. There are few semi-autonomous or fully autonomous aerial platforms with capability that allows for on-demand firefighting assistance at military bases, or in commercial aerospace. Swift has designed, fabricated, and test flown a proof of concept UAS (Swift EVERSOR I) with a gross weight of 1400 lbs at a current TRL 4. We have partnered with Simplex, an expert in firefighting initiatives, to convert this to a 4000 lb gross weight UAS (EVERSOR II) capable of not only identifying and monitoring fires, but that can actively carry payloads to assist with putting them out, rescuing personnel, and more. Swift recognizes that this aircraft can also be utilized for C4ISR, armed transport support, manned transport, and other capability. Introducing unmanned platforms capable of scaling between Group 3 and above, that also has a payload bay detachable from the fuselage, allows for extended mission interoperability for USAF and expansion in a field limited by manned aerial platforms currently. Swift's advantage is our ability to quickly provide simulations and then field a prototype in Phase II.
