Cortex EIP is an enterprise intelligence platform that ingests, analyzes, & visualizes data from any source to empower SOF to immediately harness the value of a vast data ecosystem. Connections, relationships, and histories are shared real-time with SOF operators & leadership to produce a comprehensive data landscape results in the ability to act quickly & with confidence to ever-changing mission requirements. Cortex is intuitive due to its unique semantic network which features a graph-based data model that emulates the way humans gather, access, & store information. By leveraging a suite of fully customizable dashboards, Cortex enables SOF to see complete common operating pictures in real-time as data & analytical input are fused to enable informed decision-making. Further, Cortex integrates data across organizations & enables leaders from different organizations, divisions, and units to contribute & consume Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (ISR) data, all while preserving the provenance of each piece of information. Cortex EIP is ready to operate on any tactical cloud network regardless of network platform. Cortex EIP utilizes atomic database transactions ensuring that data transactions are completed fully or rolled back. A relational database is used as the authoritative persistence layer to ensure every table has constraints securing the referential integrity of the data. PostgreSQL is used as an underlying database, which allows for full recovery of data to include pending transactions during system interruption and crashes. Additional well-established supporting non-SQL technologies are used to overcome any scaling challenges normally experienced with PostgreSQL. Cortex EIP is a hybrid platform designed with open, powerful and adaptable principals in mind by leveraging a suite of fully customizable dashboards. Cortex EIP enables SOF to see complete, common operating pictures in real-time as data & analytical input are fused to enable informed decision making. Cortex EIP supports APIs & is adaptive at a variety of contexts, & can automatically reconfigure, reroute, & rebalance in response to component failures or unexpected loading conditions. Cortex EIP is a browser-based data agnostic platform capable of functioning within any data infrastructure to include the Integrated Sensor Architecture (ISA). Whether an organizations data lives solely in the cloud, on premises, or a hybrid of the two, Cortex EIP is fully capable of integrating into any data management network, even tactical cloud networks operating disconnected and semi-disconnected environments.  Importantly, customers always keep control of their data & can use their data how they see fit at any time both within & outside of the Cortex EIP system. Additionally, the inherent flexibility of the ontological model offered a dynamic schema which empowers analysts to take in more information during ETL & use that information to make better decisions, faster.
