The collection, analysis, objective evaluation, and aggregation of pilot physiological data provides a unique opportunity to support emerging Air Force human performance and wellness optimization programs. This data can provide better insights and inform treatment decisions to improve the effectiveness of such programs, while also providing a unique and personalized approach for each fighter pilot. TITUS's SPEAR® Enterprise Data System and Design Interactive's (DI) biosignature analytics classifiers can each be modified and integrated to create a customized, best-in-class human performance monitoring tool for capturing, measuring, and making sense of a wealth of fighter pilot human performance data. The result will be personalized and predictive information that allows wellness and healthcare providers to make more appropriate interventions and therapies more quickly, resulting in improved health and pilot longevity

Poor sleep and high fatigue are associated with decreased alertness, cognitive degradation, and increased errors, and as such, are operational vulnerabilities within high reliability organizations (HROs) where even minor errors can have catastrophic consequences. The US Naval Surface Forces and US Naval Air Forces operate within increasingly complex and hazardous environments where unaccounted for risk is a threat to operational readiness and safety. SPEAR is proposing an integrated solution with the VORTEX data pipeline and the SPEAR Intelligent Human Performance platform to provide a secure, scalable and intelligent toolset that can make data visible to operational leaders, providers and sailors to deliver health and safety indicators derived from wearable device based physiological data while underway all within a secure operational architecture that can easily be deployed on any ship and will attain an ATO at Impact Level 5 or higher.
