AeroCore is the inventor of innovative engine wash technology and has received full FAA acceptance across all aircraft engines types/models. AeroCore's foam restoration process uses pre-existing OEM and MIL-Spec approved gas-path detergents to restore jet engines on-wing. AeroCore's patented technology creates the necessary and beneficial cellular structures for complete blade and core coverage and full fouling extraction. Foam cleaning an aircraft engine is the process of mixing military-spec approved gas-path cleaning agents with water and air to form a beneficial cellular liquid-foam mixture. This nucleated foam mixture is then injected into an engine gas-path with a nozzle under low pressure during starter motoring and while ignition and fuel supply is off. Foam generally expands to 10-20 times the size of its liquid form and contains between 75-90% air. Foam's beneficial cellular structure counteracts centrifugal forces allowing the cleaning mixture to reach deep into the engine core and get full contact coverage within an engine. The extensive surface area contact will dissolve, trap, and extract contaminants more effectively than all legacy methods of engine washing. By consistently extracting 99%+ of internal surface fouling inside an engine, AeroCore's technology significantly reduces fuel consumption, reduces engine wear (lifetime maintenance costs) and improves TOW.
