The topic of this SBIR is centered around the question of how long it takes to develop CubeSats, and how can this time be significantly reduced. We hypothesize that two major factors impeding CubeSat development timelines are immaturity of the supply chain, and challenges with hardware-software interaction during the integration process. We propose a solution to overcome these challenges and propose a feasibility study to assess the effectiveness of this solution. The proposed feasibility study includes elements that would validate (or modify) the hypothesis, scope the work, and understand risks associated with the proposed solution. We expect that this solution could more than halve the development timeline, and it provides a strong foundation to enable more transformational development time reductions in the futuresatellite development timeline,Interoperability, supply chain,hardware-software integration,Artificial Intelligence / machine learning, operating system, open architecture software, component market place
