FASTPORT provides an online Air Force Recruiting & Retention Tool that allows Air Force Recruiters and Retention NCOs to run career scenario analyses for high school graduates and Airmen. For new recruits, the tool enables occupational research to help demonstrate the value of an Air Force career while helping them determine an Air Force specialty. For Airmen, the tool allows them to evaluate realistic civilian employment opportunities if they are considering transition today or if they remain in the Air Force for a longer duration. The civilian employment outlook is based upon government and proprietary occupational employment-related data across the United States and its Territories. This Air Force Recruiting & Retention Tools is developed to assist the Air Force in reaching their recruiting goals more productively by inspiring a 10% higher rate of new enlistment conversions coupled with an estimated 3% to 5% higher retention rates for reenlistments.
