This effort will augment the Paragrine Air & Ground Utility Vehicle (AGUV) with the ability to be air launched from from a transport aircraft, and then transition to flight under its own power. It will also further the process of developing an automatic canopy deployment and retraction system that can be engaged while the AGUV is in motion on the ground enabling seamless transition between air and ground modes of operation. During Phase I, Paragrine and its team will work closely with Air Force end users to align the program with their mission needs to ensure a practical, safe and useful system is advanced by this project. The proposed capabilities will support air drop of supplies with over 100 miles of offset, with a vehicle that is mobile under its own power once landed on the ground, and also able to self-EXFIL under its own power. The capability also has application for low-detectable (radar/visual/noise) insertion into difficult to reach areas under non-permissive environments. Paragrine and its team of Ombra, TacAirOps, and General Atomics are eminently capable of delivering an effective solution that is responsive to Air Force need
