For the past several years, the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) has been developing digital holography for various applications including imaging, tracking, and HEL weapon systems. Guidestar Optical Systems, Inc. (Guidestar) has identified a low-noise, high-speed SWIR camera which is capable of addressing the issues identified by the Air Force and enhancing the performance of digital holographic detection. Guidestar will leverage investments and advancements of this camera technology and apply it towards a digital holography imaging system that will meet the sensing needs of the Air Force. This effort will include verification testing on the commercial camera to establish the cameras capability, modeling and simulation of the digital holographic imaging system, and a scaled laboratory experiment utilizing an existing digital holography system in Guidestars laboratory. high speed camera, low noise camera, SWIR camera, digital holography
