ASI is developing a LEO-based hybrid RF-optical data-relay network to augment satellite communications capabilities. Such a network increases the amount of remote sensing data that can be offloaded and reduces latency from image acquisition to terrestrial reception and analysis. It accomplishes this by forwarding the data through a relay network of ASI satellites for downlink to an available and secure ground location. To maximize access by RSS constellations into the data relay network, ASI is constructing ââ¬ÅConverter Satsââ¬ï¿½Ã¢â¬â satellites dedicated to high-value, hardware constrained ISR assets that are optimized to provide 100% access with full backwards compatibility and dynamic resource allocation through our network. Additionally, ASI intends to build out an aggregated content satellite data delivery service enabled by its network and would define its business development case for this solution through this and follow-on contr
