Higher Ground will implement an ATAK plugin to integrate with our Wi-Fi Zone On Demand project underway for DHS.This new communication link will provide connectivity in areas that do not have traditional LTE or Wi-Fi connections.By developing the ATAK plug-in, military personnel can use situational awareness within ATAK From Anywhere. The extension of ATAK coverage across the globe is of substantial importance.A commander will be able to position our UAV-to-satellite hotspot anywhere in the world and provide users in the below 20 square mile area communications and situational awareness. This includes high speed voice and situational awareness communications between users in the zone below the UAV as well as a moderate speed internet connection back to base over our satellite backhaul.Higher Ground has the team and experience to accomplish this goalwe started by building the first mobile phone satcom accessory that connects directly to Geostationary satellites; the SatPaq.We have expert skills in communications, satellites, phone app development, DSP, hardware, and more.ATAK plugin,SATCOM,WiFi on demand,UAV,SatPaq,ubiquitous communication, drone

This proposal presents a scope of work to develop an edge, personal communication device for the DoD to enable situational awareness anywhere. This device is based on a commercially available, credit-card-sized satellite communicator called a SatPaq. We propose significant innovation to provide a) very low probability of interception and/or detection [LPI/LPD]; b) Positioning Navigation and Timing [PNT] even through GPS-denied conditions; c) convenient messaging and images from anywhere; d) high immunity from jamming. With these new advances, the SatPaqs can provide meaningful, real-time situation information of all appropriate resources. Such knowledge enables chaotic situations to become much more productive.
