Advanced Radar Company (ARC) proposes a feasibility study of Aregn, our commercial open source software product for real-time multi-sensor terrestrial weather data processing. Aregn is currently in operations for customers around the world primarily servicing meteorology agencies and airports.Aregn directly addresses the USAF need for better real-time data integration from multiple sensor platforms. Aregn also addresses the need for more affordable data processing solutions by leveraging the significant National Science Foundation and international funding that developed the open source baseline upon which Aregn is based. Lastly, Aregn offers the USAF a platform for real-time data assimilation across multi-sensor platforms providing enhanced weather products for weather models used to derive long term forecasting. The proposed feasibility study will provide information on two objectives: 1. The effort required to bring Aregn into cyber compliance via the Risk Management Framework (RMF) construct. 2. The effort required to add processing for an existing DoD sensor to prove the validity of the Aregn open architecture.Aregn, weather,Radar,Open Source,real-time,Data Assimilation,Sensor Data Processing,
