Implementation of a polarization programmable antenna array operating at the Ka band is being addressed. The real-time change of polarization enhances the signal integrity of a link between two wireless communications nodes, or robust performance of a radar. Scalable design is also suitable for beam-steering applications. This design is suitable to be scaled to address arrays operating at the DOD frequencies as well as commercial bands that are currently the choices for the 5G access points and modems being addressed within the IEEE standards committee. Lamination of the array in flexible substrates will be addressed for the DOD and commercial applications.
