The QuickShot diagnostic tool leverages existing velocity measurement techniques and adds an image intensified camera system to measure hypervelocity projectile displacement from centerline, pitch, and yaw. An illumination and filtering scheme eliminates launch and impact light flash saturation of the cameras. A custom software solution analyzes the imagery and outputs projectile velocity, displacement from centerline, pitch, and yaw at specified positions along the flight path. The imagery also allows the user to verify the integrity of the projectile during flight.
